On a 36' new holland elevator is there really that much speed difference going from a 3/4 hp 1725 rpm motor to an 3/4 hp 1800 rpm ?
2 are pto driven and i have a short (14' or so) one that is electric.

Use a motor that is rated between 1725 to 1800 rpm.
