Under a new team since 2017, our rescue work has continued and expanded our efforts in our community.

It is our mission to pair cats with people, to benefit both.

We work closely with animal control officers, veterinarians and other rescue groups to help as many cats and kittens as we can.

Our kittens range from 9 weeks to just under a year.

They are full of energy and looking for loving homes with space to run around and explore.

Each year, paws places about 900 cats and kittens into adoptive homes.

Most of our cats live at the shelter location in east hartford.
